So, who am I?
Just your average person, I guess!
The reason I chose this name as my artist name is because, well, dragons are awesome, tails are awesome too.
Why is dragon spelled differently? Well, I'm a little odd myself. Everyone is different, and that's ok!
Honestly, I just draw for fun.
You wanted more info? Ok! Here you go:
I'm an artist from Belgium.
I go by various names across the web: Enderan, Endy, Endygon, Endyran.
Dergontails is my artist name (Instagram, bluesky), while Endygon is my streamer name (Twitch. Endy-gon on Youtube). Enderan is my name on ClickCritters. The other two? Nicknames. If you see someone with the same name on any other site except the ones I listed, they're not me and I cannot do much about that.
Why did I start drawing and when?
Well, lets see, I started drawing as a kid, but never got serious about it until much later. I just draw for fun, like I said, it's a way for me to relax and express myself. My first drawings were always animal related, and also Pokemon related.
I never went to art school or took online art classes, I mostly learnt from doodling and visual tutorials. Why's that? Well, social anxiety.
So I happen to draw for ClickCritters, which is a virtual pet collection site. It's still a lot of fun to draw various creatures for the site, and see people being able to get their own! The team is cosy, and I feel safe with them, so that's the only people that I trust with helping me improve.
I'm currently on a hiatus for drawing for the site, so that I can focus on IRL stuff.
I mostly draw stuff for myself, mostly fanart of pokemon and my own characters (which are usually dragons, surprise surprise!).
As a side-hobby, I make fursuits for myself. I have tried to do this for other people, but I didn't enjoy that. However, I stepped away from making fursuits and focusing on Pokemon Cosplays next, mixing my skills from fursuit making and my love of Pokemon! Note that I have parted ways with the furry community and don't associate with them. However, my art will likely appeal to them in some degree, so as long as I don't get forced to join groups or activities, it's ok.
Overall, creating stuff is a hobby for me. I hope to be able to do this for many years to come!
So, why no info about commissions?
You might wonder why I don't have a section about commissions on this site.
Well, to keep it short: This site serves as a gallery rather than a way to contact me for art.
I don't do commissions right now.
What are my struggles with art?
Again, I'm self-taught, so my anatomy for humanoids isn't the best, but I want to work towards improving it.
I suck at backgrounds too, as I can't really find a style I'm happy with. There's one time where I was happy with it, and I want to go back to that.
How am I going to tackle this? Well, a few things, I want to stream art more, I would use these to practice sketching humans from time to time, but also backgrounds.
Am I late on doing this? Yeaaaaaaaaah, I am. Oops.
But even if I'm late, it's never too late to learn!
